NUM D&S European Union Literacy Training for Civil Servants in Khovd (Academic Year 2025–2026)

A European Union Literacy training program for civil servants was successfully organized in Khovd Province within the framework of the “MONEUL – Digital Inclusive Learning Model for European Studies” project, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. Tailored specifically for public administrators, the training modules delved into the structural, legal, and ethical frameworks of the European Union. Key sessions focused on integrating EU democratic values, the rule of law, and fundamental human rights into regional governance and public service. Participants engaged in comprehensive discussions on the EU’s equality policies, exploring practical approaches to anti-discrimination and inclusive governance. Furthermore, the curriculum introduced the MONEUL project’s digital learning resources, equipping local officials with the tools and cross-border insights necessary to foster European political and legal literacy within their communities. This training was particularly significant as it successfully bridged international human rights frameworks with local administrative practices. During the event, the feedback and suggestions of the participants were actively gathered to help shape future regional initiatives.
