MONEUL is a pioneering initiative launched in December 2023 with the aim of introducing European Union Learning in Mongolia. Tangible outcomes, including textbooks and open education resources for higher education, secondary education, and lower education, contributing to the overarching goals of MONEUL, will be developed within the project deadlines. They will be mentioned on this page to enable the broader public to benefit from the outputs. As the project progresses, these deliverables will not only showcase the collaborative efforts of the participating institutions but also stand as valuable contributions to the community of teacher educators and teachers in Mongolia. These deliverables are open source and accessible for free, underscoring the commitment of the MONEUL consortium to knowledge-sharing.
New Online Course on the European Union
The MONEUL consortium invites educators, students, and interested learners to explore this free and innovative educational offer. Together, we foster EU knowledge and inclusive education for the future.
The digital learning package Introduction to the European Union consists of three integrated components:
- 13 Learning Modules
- 14 Q&A Sessions
- 7 Quiz Modules
This course offers a comprehensive and accessible introduction to the European Union, designed to support Mongolian professors, teacher educators, and teachers. It explores the EU’s history, institutions, governance, policies, and its role in the world.
Each series includes:

- Learning Modules: 13 ppt with core presentations covering foundational EU topics and current challenges.
- Q&A Sessions: 14 ppt with clarification of key questions through pre-recorded or live sessions to deepen understanding.
- Quiz Series: 7 ppt with interactive quizzes with immediate feedback to assess learning progress.
To enhance digital inclusion, the course is adapted with Mongolian speech and subtitles, supporting deaf, hard of hearing, and blind learners.

At the request of English language teachers in Mongolia the English versions of the publications which were originally used for the Mongolian editions have also been made available online. With both Mongolian and English versions accessible learners can study in both languages supporting bilingual education.
