The MONEUL training in Uvs Province brought together 401 participants (141 male / 260 female). The sessions focused on strengthening educational capacity, sharing innovative methodologies, and encouraging active participation from both educators and learners. The high female participation highlighted the growing role of women in education and local development initiatives. This training was part of the August Erasmus+ MONEUL series, titled “Introduction to European Union: Democracy, Education, Digitalization, and Ecology”, delivered between 20 August – 5 September 2025 across Khovd, Uvs, Bayan-Ülgii, and Gobi-Altai provinces. It introduced participants to the EU’s democratic structures, shared values, and key policies in education, digitalization, diversity, and ecology. Participants explored practical ways to integrate these themes into secondary education curricula using free online resources and project deliverables. The program targeted teachers, methodologists, and managers from secondary educational institutions across the four western provinces of Mongolia. The training was facilitated by a team of professors, associate professors, and senior lecturers from the Graduate University of Mongolia, in collaboration with their colleagues of the Western Regional Branch of NUM, alongside curriculum development specialists and education managers.
