The field mission to remote areas focus on relevant local issues, such as sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, and rural development. Mongolian higher education institutions in remote areas play a crucial role in expanding access to quality education across the country. These institutions provide vital opportunities for students from remote regions to pursue higher education without having to relocate to urban centers and ensure that curricula meet the specific needs of their (remote) communities. Despite challenges like limited resources and infrastructure, these rural and remote institutions are dedicated to supporting the socioeconomic development of their regions. Their efforts contribute to reducing educational disparities and promoting inclusive growth in Mongolia.
