In line with Article 15.5 of the Law on Higher Education and Article 12.11 of the General Law on Education, which emphasize the organization of teacher professional development activities at both national and local levels, Mongolia is reinforcing its commitment to continuous teacher training. Following Order No. A 164 of the Minister of Education and Science of Mongolia, dated April 9, 2024, Teacher Development Centers have been established at the Mongolian State University of Education, at the Western Branch of the Mongolian State University in Khovd and at the Eastern Branch of the Mongolian State University in Dornod. The first teacher training courses were successfully held on May 1, 2025, bringing together educators—including staff engaged in the MONEUL project—to strengthen professional skills and foster collaboration with key stakeholders in education. Looking ahead, MONEUL will actively use the newly established Teacher Development Centers for its dissemination activities.
